Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park, formerly known as the Henry J. Malus Park after the man who donated the land, is where Ansonia’s 50 year Centennial Time Capsule is buried. In 1999, the memorial to Ansonia veterans who served in defense of their country was dedicated.

At the next traffic light, turn left on Bridge Street and proceed to stop sign. Take a left onto East Main Street which was once in a heavy industrial area serviced by canal. Continue straight through a stop sign and traffic light onto Rt. 115 heading toward Seymour.
