Valley YMCA

The Ansonia Young Men’s Christian Association, was organized in 1866 as one of the first social agencies in the city. Energetic fund-raising resulted in the present building at 12 State Street. The YMCA’s programs benefit Valley children and families in the tradition that began over 100 years ago, to provide opportunities to enhance spirit, mind and body. The YMCA has since moved out, but the building is still being used by local businesses.
